The position at a glance
The current positions are under Global Markets IT Canada team with a scope to contribute in individual capacity on development, enhancement, maintenance & support activities for multiple applications by efficiently utilizing continuous improvement and agile methodology. To support those activities, we are looking for: Senior Business Analysts. Application Production Support Specialists and Senior Developers.
Senior Business Analyst
This role supports BNP Paribas's mission by driving functional transformations and large-scale platform evolutions. The main objective is to bridge the gap between business lines and IT to implement new markets and reporting tools. You will act as a strategic link within a global ecosystem to ensure seamless operational change.
- Manage the full project lifecycle by gathering requirements and writing specifications to drive functional evolution.
- Facilitate change management through UAT and testing to implement new market capabilities.
- Resolve complex functional issues by providing advanced troubleshooting and offshore coordination.
Application Production Support
This role supports BNP Paribas's mission by ensuring the stability and excellence of production environments. The main objective is to provide reliable support for the settlement system within Capital Markets. You will collaborate across multiple time zones to maintain continuous global operations.
- Resolve technical incidents by acting as a Single Point of Contact to ensure production stability.
- Monitor platform performance through proactive observation to drive production excellence.
- Support the trade life cycle by managing settlements, securities, and prime brokerage queries.
Senior Developer
This role supports BNP Paribas's mission by serving as a technical expert within the regulatory reporting framework. The main objective is to ensure the firm meets global regulatory obligations with precision and security. You will lead the development of sophisticated applications that integrate with complex business workflows.
- Lead the full Software Development Life Cycle to deliver regulatory-critical solutions.
- Own the technical design of complex features to ensure long-term scalability.
- Architect and develop robust applications to meet stringent regulatory requirements.
- Drive efficient delivery pipelines by leveraging DevOps methodologies and automation.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in domain expertise and proven technical expertise in your chosen field.
- Experience working in a financial institution.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English and French (preferred)
