About Business line/Function:
Middle office – Trade support – STP team is a global static data handling team with locations in Chennai and Mumbai, providing coverage to Middle office clients across various regions that includes Sydney/NZ, EMEA, APAC and the US.
The operational scope covers, New client Onboarding, Creation and maintenance of end to end static information of Client, Funds, Brokers and Custodian under multiple Middle office applications, Funds Decommission, High level investigation queries, Projects management, Market regulatory revisions and Change controls.

Position Purpose
The position will be responsible for setting up Portfolios/Brokers/Custodies in Tradeflow application.
Should ensure to manage BAUs in line with the standard operating model.
Manage the Work effectively with team members to accomplish common goals.
Generate creative solutions to problems, Ability to plan work ahead and to prioritize workload in an organized manner.
Require a key player to perform Input/Validate as per the SOP and business control.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· To work as a member of Static data team with internal applications.
· Should have wider knowledge on Trade life cycle and Global trade processing models.
· Interact with both internal and external parties to resolve static related queries.
· Assist the team members on the BAU and act as a back in the absence of supervisor.
· Should have knowledge on Standard Settlement Instructions.
· Should possess good communication and analytical skills.
· Basis awareness on the types of SWIFT instruction across multiple products required.
· Query resolution in accordance with agreed time frames.
· Need to participate on testing and implementation activities.
· Should ensure all the control measures are adhered.
· Ensure all exceptions / Change of procedure are documented as per BNP Paribas policy.
· Active involvement in Projects and Escalation calls for resolution.
· Extensive communication with Internal & External parties.
· Taking full advantage of the MO transversal Static & Alert knowledge, provide value added solutions that enables the operational teams for a seamless transition to the new operating model.
· Understand the current models for ASI service.
· Review new model proposals and confirm viability.
- One point of contact for Static & alert on the new model.
- Representation & ownership for static & alert streams in all governance calls including SWAT.
· Accountable to feed all project stakeholders (Programme, Client, Management, etc.) and ensure the key and appropriate updates/issues are raised.
Contributing Responsibilities
· Participate and help management in the Audit and MIS activities.
· Support static & alert changes in accordance to the various phases of offboarding
· Support testing requirements for operational teams based on agreed models.
· Support round trip testing on the agreed models.
· Support a similar approach for subsequent models for IBOR and ultimately accounting only.
- Collaborate with global counterparts and local operations team to ensure proper coverage of assigned tasks.

- Knowledge of Omgeo & Tradeflow would be an added advantage.
