About the Job
- The Resource Portfolio Manager Team Leader is responsible for the management of BNPP's Synthetic SRT and Credit Insurance activities. Additionally it is also involved in the overall securitization financing portfolio optimization in terms of profitability, risk and capital assessment. More importantly, the Supervisor role is meant to ensure quality and professionalism of junior members, and to support the Team Leader on strategic topics concerning the team
Your Main Activities
- Management of RPM Platform 3 poles
- SRT: from Origination controls duties (STS controls, ...) to Trade Management activities (SRT lifecycle, porfolio reporting to Investors, Capital Run management)
- Insurance: Closing (Transaction Group duties), Policy management (exposure reporting, premium payments), Trade Insurance & Greenstars duties, Capital Run management
- Transversal topics : Dashboarding (Capital & P&L), Data Solution & Modelling (maintenance & enhancement of Dashboarding capabilities) and Controls (regulatory, quarterly, at origination)
- As team leader of SPG RPM teamsupport and empower the team:
- Handling the recruitment processes, objectives, appraisals of all team members
- Handling effectively the day to day management of the team. Have regular one to one and team meetings with a coaching mindset, transparent communication & strategic focus, control motivation and career prospection, ensuring the maintenance of stable and resilient team
- Being accountable for the services delivered by the SPG RPM Lisbon teams towards the onshore team and relevant stakehodlers
- Baking sure the SPG RPM team comply with all the administrative and compliance duties related to their activities, making sure to build necessary network to be able to comply with them when outside direct control
- Having a long term strategic vision of the teams’ development and proactively address required changes in services for the future to make sure such vision materializes
- Managing efficiently the time allocation between people in different teams making sure to fully utilize capacity and avoid huge & avoidable discrepancies between workload across team members
- Contribute operationally to the teams’ success, including:
- Taking over/ finding solutions for when team is temporarily undercapacity
- Supporting on admin & operational aspects of setting up and executing transactions/policies, including preparations of internal documentation for deal/policy closing & booking and advising on operational risks
- Manage the quarterly capital production (SRT & Insurance), including: i) Review of capital data inputs and outputs for accuracy; ii) review and analysis of evolution of capital output; iii) Liase with the Risk and the Finance teams to provide corrections to data inputs / capital output as needed
- Manage different quarterly dashboards and data deliveries for external and internal stakeholders : Regulators reports, internal (local entities)
- Managing transversal projects to deal with relevant regulatory, policy or IT changes
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master degree in Economics, Finance, Management or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in a Managerial position
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of credit risk capital management products: Securitization, CDS, Credit insurance, RWA calculations
- Good knowledge of Excel and beginner in IT languages (VBA or Python)
- Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)
- Ability to develop and leverage networks and inspire others
