In Munich, we are looking for you to join us in a full-time, permanent position as Lead Android Engineer (all genders) in Consors Finanz.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you
- You own the end-to-end lifecycle of our Android mobile banking application, from architecture and development to release and continuous improvement.
- You lead technical design and architecture decisions in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture stakeholders.
- You drive engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices, and mentoring of internal and external developers.
- You lead the delivery of new features and platform enhancements while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
- You stay at the forefront of Android technologies and industry trends, transforming innovation into customer value for millions of users.
Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer
- Strong expertise in Android development, including experience designing and delivering large-scale, production-grade mobile applications
- Deep understanding of mobile architectures, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and modern development practices, with knowledge of emerging technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectural designs
- Passion for engineering excellence, with a proven track record in performance optimization, troubleshooting, debugging, and driving application stability and quality
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments, strong communication skills in English, and a continuous drive to learn and adopt new technology
- Native Android development with Kotlin 2.1
- MVVM architecture using Jetpack Compose Material 3 and ViewBinding
- Dependency injection with Koin and reactive programming via Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
