Main Purpose Statement

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the visual design strategy and executing creative concepts to effectively communicate the organization's or retail partner’s brand/campaign message across various platforms. By conveying the appropriate brand-aligned style and message, the incumbent should be able to produce visually striking designs that grab the attention of its target audiences, both internal and external.

The successful candidate should have a strong drive to develop creative concepts that complement the RCS brand identity and a strong enthusiasm for design and will work closely with cross-functional teams to create excellent visual assets that support company goals and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Creative design

  • Support the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with all their stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into visually appealing designs.
  • Interpret creative briefs (with correct specs and context provided) for multiple design applications
  • Develop and implement concepts that are creative, brand-aligned and suitable for the target audience and channel
  • Develop design concepts that effectively convey key messages and brand identity
  • Support the production of multimedia content, including video graphics and animations, to enhance marketing campaigns
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Brand identity

  • Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all design assets, ensuring they adhere to RCS and Retail Partner brand guidelines 
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all deliverables to ensure they meet design standards and specifications.
  • Aligned with trends
  • Perform research for new design trends, responsive design and software or design tools
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices and incorporate new techniques/technologies into design projects 
  • Test various new formats and channels as relevant

Maintenance & Compliance

  • Ensure that all marketing and communication comply with relevant laws, regulations, BNP Paribas compliance requirements and ethical standards
  • Maintain organised files and documentation of design assets for easy access and retrieval

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic design  
  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in interpreting creative briefs and delivering design objects to spec & on target across media channels
  • Experience in a corporate and/or creative studio environment
  • Efficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong technical knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Working ability in programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Motion graphics – 2D and 3D animation
  • Strong understanding of design principles and layout
  • Detail oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design consistency.
