JAVA Tech Lead/Developer

In a context of maintaining the high level of existing activities while growing the number of international customers, we are looking for a Java Technical Leader!

MISSION

It was identified the need to onboard a new technical expert that could lead one or more squads in the developments of digital solutions, ensuring architectural coherence, technical excellence, and delivery efficiency. The technical lead will act as a key enabler for the squads, providing hands-on guidance, mentoring developers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is essential to strengthen the technical backbone of the teams, especially in contexts with high technical and organisational complexity.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of functionalities and defects/incident resolution.

• Lead the development of functionalities and resolution of defects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

• Elaborate technical analyses aligned with architectural guidelines and functional requirements of the application.

• Perform and oversee technical testing activities to ensure robustness and performance.

• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies.

• Share feedback and foster collaboration within the development team.

• Work closely with Analysts and clients to refine and clarify requirements.

• Serve as the main technical point of contact for client-side stakeholders

• Mentor and support developers within the squad(s), promoting technical growth and agile maturity.

• Contribute to defining technical role profiles and skill requirements.

• Support onboarding and integration of new developers into the squads.

• Participate actively in the hiring process for developers: conduct technical interviews and assessments

REQUIREMENTS

  • IT Tools:

Excellent knowledge of : 

  • FRONTEND: Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, NodeJS, JQuery, React is a plus 
  • BACKEND: Java 17, Spring framework - Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Rest services, Microservices orientation programming  
  • TEST FRAMEWORKS • Junit • Mockito 
  • DATABASE • Liquidbase • PostgreSQL • Oracle 
  • INFRA • Docker • Kubernetes • IBM Cloud

Optionally/ as a plus: ▪ CI/CD • Jenkins

  • Languages
  • Fluent level of English is a must
  • French and Italian are a BIG plus

BUSINESS AND TRANSVERSAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in information sciences/vocational training, higher degree in computer science.
  • Experience in the banking/insurance sector
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making person.
  • Demonstrates advanced analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are ambiguous, lack known precedent or appear contradictory.
  • Sees the big picture and is fully aware of technology and business directions.
  • Experience with AGILE methodology.
