Position Purpose
The position is for an individual contributor Java Technical Lead. Candidate will be responsible to understand the upcoming requirements, provide optimal design solutions for it and ensure its on time delivery.
Provide Continuous improvement and innovative solutions for the applications and teams tasks.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
1. Strong leadership experience in guiding teams in designing and development of web applications.
2. Experience in providing solutions in alignment with Technical & Functional Architecture requirements.
3. Study user requirement, develop specifications, design(high level & low level design), develop code, perform code reviews and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements in order to meet user (business) requirements.
4. Handle development/design projects using Java, J2EE, Oracle, JavaScript, Struts, Spring, WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat
5. Further enhance, Trouble-shoot, understand & resolve problems related to existing systems in order to meet user requirements and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems.
6. Efficiently collaborate with IT Security, Infra, Vendor, Governance, Production Security, Architecture, and Regional stakeholder teams for BAU delivery and turnkey implementations

Guiding the team with best coding practices, doing code reviews and provides functional and technical help.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
1. Strong Skills on Java 8 and above, J2EE (Spring, Struts, MVC, Hibernate, JMS), Oracle PL/SQL, Multithreading, MQ, Webservices, Angular 14 and above, SpringBoot, Spring Security
2. Hands on Web application development experience
3. AJAX, Java Script, Jquery experience
4. Experience of working with any one of the application servers like Webshpere, JBOSS, Weblogic, Tomcat
5. Should have experience on at least one web framework (Spring MVC, Struts, Apache Wicket, JSP)
6. Ability to interpret / write specs and develop the code
7. Knowledge of Java Secure coding practices mandatory
8. Strong understanding of GIT/Bitbucket/Artifactory or other version control tool, Deployment tools like Jenkins, code review tools like SONAR, Fortify, NexusIQ
9. Experience in solving performance related issue in Java & Oracle SQL.
10. Understanding & working experience in Linux OS
11. Strong Understanding of complete software lifecycle

1. eBanking domain Experience is highly advantageous.
