Model Inspector (M/F)

Within the Group, the General Inspection (Inspection Générale) operates independently on behalf of the General Management and conducts audit missions in France and internationally to ensure the quality of risk control systems, compliance with regulatory constraints, and management efficiency.

What does a typical day look like?

As part of the specialized model teams, you will carry out highly technical audit missions concerning the models used within the Group, operating in a demanding international environment.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting audits of the models used by the Group and its entities.
  • Analyzing and evaluating the quality of the models as well as their mathematical and financial robustness.
  • Verifying the quality of their construction, validation, and implementation, as well as their compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Formulating recommendations aimed at improving risk management systems.
  • Contributing to discussions with audited teams and participating in reports to management.

You will work according to the pace of the missions, with potential travel to Europe, Asia, and the United States.

The position is based in Paris. Occasional travel may occur depending on the missions, though it is not systematic.

Remuneration and Benefits

The remuneration and benefits package includes:

  • A fixed annual salary, paid over 12 months, between €47,000 and €50,000 gross, adjusted according to your profile and experience.
  • Individual variable annual remuneration linked to performance and Group results.

  • Flexibility through a hybrid work rhythm, including up to 50 days of teleworking per semester.

Are you our next Model Inspector?

You have at least three years of experience (including internships and apprenticeships) in the field of models, acquired in the Front Office (trading, structuring, quantitative research) or in risk control (model development or validation).

You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, with a specialization in financial mathematics or quantitative finance, or a university equivalent.

Specifically, you possess the following skills:

  • Strong knowledge of applied mathematics (probability, statistics, stochastic calculus).
  • Proficiency in market products and associated models.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Adaptability in diverse and international environments. You are fluent in English and available for international travel.
