Market Activities Compliance Inspector (M/F)
BNP Paribas is a leading international banking group, committed to its clients and society. Within the Group, the General Inspection operates independently on behalf of General Management and conducts audit missions across all activities, both in France and internationally, to ensure the quality of control systems, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
What does the day-to-day look like?
As part of the General Inspection, you will join the specialized field dedicated to market activities, consisting of a team of experts conducting inspection missions related to market products and operations in France and internationally.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting investigations and analyses on the compliance of market activities, particularly regarding market integrity, professional ethics, and the protection of client interests.
- Evaluating control systems in interaction with market participants and control functions, specifically the Compliance function.
- Formulating recommendations to improve the effectiveness of systems and their compliance with regulations.
- Participating in international audit missions across the main financial centers.
- Gradually taking autonomous charge of specific themes and contributing to the skill development of the teams.
You will carry out an average of three missions per year, each lasting approximately ten weeks. The position is based in Paris. Occasional travel may be required depending on the missions, but it is not systematic.

- A fixed annual salary, paid over 12 months, adjusted according to your profile and experience.

Are you our next Market Activities Compliance Inspector?
You have at least three years of experience, including internships and apprenticeships, in the control of market activities, ideally acquired within a financial market surveillance team. You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or university equivalent.
You specifically possess the following skills:
- Expertise in compliance frameworks applied to market activities.
- Strong understanding of issues related to market integrity, investor protection, and professional ethics.
- Solid analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proficiency in communication with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Adaptability and the ability to operate in demanding international environments.
You are fluent in English and available for international travel.
