Spain IT Production

Spain IT Production organization consists of CIB ITO & ITG IT Platforms and is responsible for providing IT Production services to our Clients in EMEA, ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. IT Production organisation includes Infrastructure services, Telecom & Workspace, Production Security and Application Production domains and associated transversal services (CTO Office, Control Tower, PMO and IT Continuity). In Spain, IT Production relies on a Platform with over 400 experts that provide full-stack support services ensuring a secure, stable, standardized, and efficient production.

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

·         Achievement of Central/Regional Domain Plan – Strategic Objectives

·         Contribution to achievement of Control Tower Strategic Objectives

·         Adherence to budget allocated by Domain Head

·         Meeting defined regional domain objectives as detailed in yearly performance review process

·         Responsible for successful operational delivery of domain services within “home region”

·         Ensure that domain services function performs to contractually agreed service levels regionally.

·         Continuous Improvement meets benchmark level for domain services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The management responsibilities across the following teams

1.       EMEA exFRUK IT Project Office (PMO) – including management of local projects driven within EMEA territories as well as coordination of global and regional projects across EMEA territories

2.       EMEA IT Production Control Tower - IT Service Management (ITSM)

    Staff Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting periodic goals and objectives with managers/Team leaders as part of Objectives and Appraisal process.
  • To do a direct follow-up of team managers with regular face-to-face meetings in addition to the formal yearly appraisal to be done.
  • To detect main staff concerns and how they can affect their commitment and mind-set and its potential impact on the service. To look for actions that can solve or mitigate them when possible.
  • To ensure everyone in the domain knows & follow the BNPP norms and standards.

Operations

·         Responsible for implementation and daily production of all Services provided by IT Project Office (PMO) and oversight of IT Production Control Tower - Service Management (ITSM)

·         Direct management of the PMO staff in Spain IT Production and an oversight of the ITO Production PMO staff in Portugal and Poland

·         Oversight of Spain IT Production Control Tower, including ITSM operational activities/processes within the region (CIB and ITG) covering all ITSM key processes

·         Responsible of the coordination and completion of IT projects on time within budget and within scope.

·         Required to support core governance activities as defined and agreed with the GDH

·         Required to achieve goals and objectives as approved with the GDH as per the periodic objectives and appraisal process.

·         Reports directly to the Spain Head of Control Tower and PMO

·         Escalation point for issues raised from GDH, Regional CTO and Captive CTO

      Services

·         Accountable of regional Service definition

·         Accountable for continuous improvement of regional processes used within the domain.

·         Accountable for collecting and disseminating best practices from his/her region across other RDHs and relevant impacted groups.

·         Responsible for reviewing and escalating through the appropriate governance channel any non-standard service requests.

·         Responsible for the provision new business requirements and solutions utilising the “internal” domain product catalogue as the basis to select the appropriate technology components.

·         Responsible for providing services as per agreed KPIs within the region with the RTCO and Captive CTO (levels and details of KPIs to be defined)

·         Responsible for maintenance and making any required changes following the change process within the region.

      Technical

  • Accountable for technical competence to ensure that the region maintains the necessary level of technical expertise.
  • Accountable for organising technical knowledge & capabilities by supporting training needs of regional personnel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Studies

·         Degree in Computer Science highly desirable

·         ITIL Foundation certification highly desirable

·         Project & Program management certification desirable but not mandatory

  • Experience

·         At least 5 years experience Managing IT Teams, leading IT Projects within ITIL framework and best practices.

  • Languages

·         English: high level

·         French: desirable but not mandatory.

SKILLS

  • Technical

·         Management experience (medium to large teams)

·         Expertise on standard methodologies of Service Delivery (ITIL, COBIT)

·         Expert on IT Project Management

·         General Banking Knowledge

·         Functional as well as technical knowledge of the applications used within BNP Paribas

·         Knowledge of the Norms and Standards of the BNP Paribas Group

·         Management of Operational Risk through Permanent Controls and mitigating actions
