Position Purpose: 

 The job purpose is to partner directly with the head of 2S China, ensuring the business operates safely and complies with all internal BNP Paribas Group rules as well as Regulations in China.

He/She will manage directly the Operations team (namely Client Delivery), act as local contact for Global Process Owners and Client Lines representatives. Finally, he/she will act as a delegate for the head of 2S China (as required) and roll-out locally global initiatives: efficiency, rationalization, digitalization.

Direct Responsibilities:

 * Ensure the team provide an excellent, efficient and consistent service delivery to clients, in cooperation with Client Services.
 * Act as escalation point for service delivery issues within the location & ensure a proper escalation to Client Services when needed.
 * Drive the local business delivery model by aligning local operational resources to global standards as well as global development plans and priorities (incl. but not limited to Business Implementation team).
 * Define & monitor service quality metrics and articulate action plans to improve service quality.
 * Minimise the operational risk and ensure the local business continuity plan is available & tested.
 * Implement new product capabilities as per Client Lines roadmap
 * Respond to local authority’s requirements and ensure business delivery model is compliant with local obligations.

 * Manage client delivery costs in the location with the objective to minimise the cost base, monitor the evolution of unit costs, review and validate local budget targets.
 * Responsible for the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan (work closely with LoD1 in that regards).
 * Responsible for ensuring team members to comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, full adhesion to Compliance, Conduct & Risk policies.
 * Responsible for reporting all incidents according to the Incident Management System.
 * Responsible for ensuring job descriptions are written, distributed and updated.

Contributing Responsibilities:

 * Contribute as Settlement Officer and provide high-quality service to clients in a secure operating environment.
* Support sales and product forces by acting as an expert of local business delivery model (RFP participation, etc.)
 * Contribute to feasibility assessment on new product capabilities.
 * Actively participate to local marketplace committees and ensure appropriate internal reporting.
