Finance Data Analyst
based in
PortoBE PART OF OUR DYNAMIC TEAM OF DONNEES DAR (DFAR)
Be part of our dynamic DFAR team, a specialized data unit inside of the Data Team that designs and operates automated solutions to collect and deliver high-quality data for Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, and Risk functions. Using tools such as Power BI, SAS/SQL, Python, and ETL processes, the team streamlines financial and operational workflows from data input to business insights, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and actionable decision-making for internal stakeholders.
YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE DFAR TEAM
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Finance Analysis and Business Support, including performing financial and accounting analysis and reconciliation activities;
- Collaborate with business teams to translate functional requirements into scalable analytical solutions;
- Develop interactive dashboards to monitor financial KPIs, data quality, and risk indicators, translating business requirements into visual and analytical reporting tools;
- Analyze data transformation processes and measure quality through control frameworks, whilst proposing remediation plans using automation solutions and validation rules;
- Participate in data quality governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with finance and accounting standards.
READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Engineering, or related fields;
- 4+ years of professional background in financial data analysis, including hands-on experience in finance/accounting environments, financial reporting activities and/or dashboard development;
- Understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes and P&L/Balance Sheet concepts;
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Power BI, Python and SQL (ideal)
- Fluent in English. Fluency in French would be an additional advantage
