Dir - Prime Brokerage Origination

Responsibilities

• Cover certain existing relationships and growing BNPP’s Prime Services wallet-share organically, liaising closely with other regions as-needed.
• Act as the key global coordinator for the business.  From our Asia location, provide an amount of regional relationship coverage for certain global accounts trading APAC.
• Identify and originate attractive new Prime Services mandates (cash PB and synthetic financing), liaising with relevant Prime Services, Global Markets and Securities Services colleagues in the process.
• Work lock-step with Electronic Execution colleagues to lead sales efforts around quantitative equity strategies or sub-strategies, leveraging an extensive experience already established in this realm.
• May be asked to partner with other Prime Sales colleagues, acting more of a specialist sales in certain instances (e.g. where quantitative equity sub-strategies are being introduced to an existing client’s business).
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the clients’ C-Suite.
• Contribute to cross-sell opportunity identification and monetisation with new- and existing clients by understanding their needs and matching them with the bank’s broader capabilities (GM, CIB2S).
• Work with platform personnel to identify, propose and help implement new platform functionality and enhancements to enable our offering evolve to meet our clients’ needs – particularly in the quantitative equities realm.
• Promoting awareness of BNPP’s Prime capabilities and aspirations in the local marketplace through various channels and methods.
• Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
• Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan
• Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
• Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
