Job Title: Octane Support and Transition Services Lead 

Department: Transversal Assets, ITG ITT

About Business line/Function: 

ITG Transversal Functions, India is part of ISPL (India Service Private Limited) - services various business lines in BNP Paribas Group. This role is within the IT part of the India Group of BNP Paribas. The business line function which the role is for Transversal Assets to support various global transition services across regions for the department.

Position Purpose: 

The role will report to the ITT Management service Manager in ISPL and will be primarily responsible for 

Primarily, oversee and coordinate by providing requirement support for all Octane related service requests for all delivery centers under ITTF scope of work.

Additionally, as a Transversal Asset Global Transition service supports responsible for helping in transition service plans, timelines, scope, and any related risk management, defining project governance and related milestones.

Must be Involved in other Quality and Governance activities for IT Transversal Asset like budgeting, phasing and resource monitoring, cost analysis and savings. Also involved and prepare monthly management presentation.

The position requires working in a virtual team and international environment and is multidisciplinary in nature. It involves coordination with other locations and divisions of Transversal Asset (ITG-ITT) as necessary. It is important that the candidate should have strong Transition service process knowledge along with high analytical skills and attention to details.

Direct Responsibilities

  1. Octane requirement Coordinator across ITTF
  • Serve as the primary backup of existing Octane support specialist and thus also understand the life cycle of the requirement, liaison between project managers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to capture and clarify all Octane service requirements.
  • Document every request in detail, specifying the exact Octane service type, required parameters, and any supporting information needed for successful execution.
  • Create, submit, and track

    Octane service requests from inception through completion, ensuring timely fulfillment and transparent status updates for stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical roadblocks

     by collaborating closely with the APS Support team, providing prompt troubleshooting and guidance to keep requests on schedule.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the ALM Octane platform, its configuration, and best‑practice usage across all ITTF projects, advising teams on optimal utilization and continuous improvement.
  • Key Impact Streamlines the end‑to‑end Octane request lifecycle, reduces turnaround time, and ensures consistent, high‑quality delivery of ALM services across the projects.
  1. IT Transversal Asset Transition Service Support- 
  • During transition of activities, drive and follow processes like Coordinating with Risk and Data teams/ TPRM, compliance with SME’s, SLA, CI validation, shoring committee and adherence to processes such as ITGV6, QMS, OPC, etc. This role will work with onshore PMO and provide any ISPL specific details required, along with any ISPL specific requirements from ISPL & ITG CIO Office. 
  • Control risk and budget – identified potential impacts early, developed mitigation plans, and monitored expenditures to keep projects within approved limits.
  • Challenged the status‑quo by continuously evaluating existing workflows; introduced process‑optimization initiatives and improved stakeholder feedback and satisfaction.
  • Produce executive‑level status reports – distilled complex project data into concise dashboards and narratives for senior leadership, enabling rapid insight and informed decision‑making.
  • Serve as the communication hub across multiple teams and external partners, translating new transition service requirements into actionable tasks and coordinating resolution, implementation, and delivery across the IT Transversal Assets.
  1. Quality Inspector and Governance for ISPL Transversal Asset
  • Partnered with senior leadership to architect and deliver a suite of strategic reports and executive‑level presentations, leveraging diverse data sources and innovative visualizations that drive informed decision‑making.
  • Owned PMO functions for all Transversal‑Asset initiatives, including budget formulation, resource allocation & phasing, invoice processing, timesheet validation, and schedule control, ensuring projects are compliant. Get aligned with central PMO under the direction of ISPL service manager for all PMO activities.
  • Manage QMS and OPC controls

     for assigned projects, maintaining audited documentation and guaranteeing adherence to governance frameworks, including meeting all ITGV6 parameters too.
  • Performed rigorous cost‑benefit analyses and submit to service manager all financial forecasting, spotlighting variances, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and escalating potential budget‑ary or schedule risks to stakeholders early.
  • Submit to Service manager various data (e.g., RACI matrices, KPI dashboards, change‑control processes) to standardize project execution, maintain audit readiness, and uphold quality standards across the portfolio.

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Understand Octane ALM life cycle across projects
  • Have a good understanding of the Transition service process, 
  • PMO related function and understand its lifecycle of source to destination.
  • Identify risk in process and propose / implement controls

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Understand Test life cycle specially project creation and defect management in tools like ALM Octane
  • Able to work with complex projects and suggest process enhancement ideas.
  • Understanding of IT transition process and controls like QMS, OPC control and ITGV6 parameters
  • Excellent in Power point presentation to produce various decks for management analysis
  • SharePoint, MS Word, MS Visio, Power BI & PowerPoint

Specific Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree - in management, finance, science, Process / QA management, related field or equivalent experience.

• Prior experience in BFSI domain.
