Key Responsibilities

Business Responsibilities

 * Defines and implements the strategic orientations for WM Thailand Market in collaboration with the Team Heads
 * Contributes to the sales development of WM Thailand through specific actions and meetings with commercial teams and key clients
 * Ensures cooperation and seeks cross-selling opportunities with all BNPP businesses in the Region.
 * Contributes to the internal communication of the business, and external communication under the supervision of the relevant Brand & Communication teams

Managerial Responsibilities

 * Attracts, retains and develops talents and contributes to the recruitment process for the key positions when relevant
* Ensures overall adequacy and consistency of remuneration process and practice, in conjunction with the regional Market/Function heads and HR
 * Staff training and communication
 * Ensure that employees under his purview complete their mandatory training on expected standard of conduct (e.g. code of conduct, conflicts of interest, AML/CFT etc.) on a timely basis
 * Ensure that the organization's desired conduct standards are cascaded down to employees under his purview through regular communication e.g. sharing of lessons learnt where misconduct has occurred
 * Succession Planning
 * To work with HR and his Management to identify potential internal candidates (where applicable)
 * To develop an appropriate handover policy and procedures with HR (where applicable)

Governance Responsibilities: Risk Management/Credit/Operational/Reputational/Compliance Risks

 * Is responsible for the risk governance and framework of WM in Thailand
 * Ensures the proper risk management and monitoring within WM Thailand
 * Ensures that the business is conducted in a fair manner that safeguards customers' interests
* Ensures compliance to all WM and Group policies, procedures as well as regulations (e.g. data confidentiality, regulatory reporting, regulatory ratios, fair dealing etc.)
 * Ensure prudent risk-taking behavior and robust risk management that supports the Bank's safety and soundness as the 1st Line of Defense (Examples of risk-taking behavior are structuring/ distribution of products, dealing in transactions or onboarding/ retention of customers that may give rise to higher risks, such as business, strategic, credit, market, ML/FT and/ or legal/ reputational risks etc.)
* Ensures proper implementation of Findings and Recommendations from auditors and regulators
 * Promotes Conduct in line with the Business guidelines and principles
 * Detect, prevent and remediate material breaches and staff misconduct in coordination with Control Functions

  Bachelor Degree or equivalent

 * Must fulfill any in-house certification program (if and when required)
