Position
Purpose:
Team member
– Finance team for BNPP GIFT IBU
Responsible
for supporting the head of finance in providing strategic direction to the
finance, accounting, and tax function of BNPP GIFT IBU through Financial
Accounting, Group and Regulatory reporting, Management accounting, Budgeting,
Management information and Tax planning, defining expense policies and internal
control procedures.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Financial Accounting and Reporting
o
Preparation
of monthly financial statements for Financial Reporting as per IFRS and Local
GAAP
o
Responsible
for day-to-day accounting and completion of all deliverable related to monthly,
quarterly, annual closing
o
Ensuring
adequate accounting and financial reporting controls in liaison with the
regional controls team
o
Oversee
the Accounts Payable and intercompany invoicing process
o
Liaising
with the auditors for the finalization of books
Regulatory Reporting
o
Preparation
of monthly regulatory returns to be submitted to regulator (IFSCA)
o
Responsible
for SEZ filings/Compliance - Filing of MPR, APR, SERF returns
o
Responsible
for all Direct and Indirect Tax compliances
Performance Management
o
Booking
of month-end expense accruals, preparation of monthly financial pack for
management
o
Variance
analysis of actual vs budget, margin analysis.
o
Liaise
with the internal stakeholders and drive the Annual Budgets and Forecasts
exercise.
Contributing Responsibilities
o
Liaise
with Regional Finance teams to review the NAC/TAC of products and finalize the
accounting plans. Be involved in UAT testing from Finance perspective.
o Liaise with internal stakeholders
such as Business teams, extended teams in BNPPISPL, Regional Finance

knowledge of accounting

Proficient
in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word PowerPoint

Preference
to candidates with Awareness / exposure to GIFT City regulations and
compliances including SEZ compliances

Ability
to adapt to core accounting and multitude of back-office systems

Ability
to work with colleagues across time zones (APAC and Paris)

Very
high comfort with working with numbers: rigor, analytical mind-set, ability to

Education
Level: Chartered Accountant, CPA or
equivalent
Experience
Level: 0 to 2 years
