2026 APAC Long Internship (Jan - Jun)  – Securities Services, Client Lines – Hong Kong

Working alongside our teams of industry leading specialists, you will gain on-the-job training throughout your 6 months programme taking you along a development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. 

What you will do?
 

As a Client Lines intern, you will be responsible for developing the HK franchise both on the Alternatives Investor and Financial Intermediaries & Corporates (FI&C) segments.

By supporting the Alternatives Investor (AI) Client Line, you will:

  • Assist in implementing a business plan in line with regional AI model.
  • Provide support for Business Development and Alternatives Management in the implementation of the new target operating model.
  • Support and contribute to the Product Managers, Regional Head of Private Capital and Head of APAC AI Client Line in preparing for services, marketing effort, including sales pitch books, marketing material, presentations and event preparations.
  • Help with the preparation for engagements with Regional & Global management committee meetings.
  • Follow BNPP Product procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Develop expertise in BNPP products and services.
  • Work closely with our product owners to create strategies to increase adoption and improve product alignment.
  • Work closely with Product to detect trends and build training.
  • Acts as focal point/liaison for Product team inquiries and issues; and take appropriate action to respond or correct.

By supporting the Financial Intermediaries & Corporates (FI&C) Client line, you will act as a central actor in the provision of Local Custody, Global Custody, Cash Management and Treasury solutions for the Securities Services client base:

  • Support with the FI&C activities in the region:
    1. Key support to regional Heads of FI&C Client Line & APAC Heads of Custody & Clearing Product
    2. Monitoring and reporting of profitability to regional stakeholders
    3. Analytical analysis and reporting of underlying client activity
    4. Support to local product manages in pricing new and existing client activites
  • Development of the product franchise:
    1. Help the regional heads in delivering key priorities
    2. Generate ideas to improve our product offer
    3. Assist in ensuring that regional product needs and regulatory needs are well taken into account
    4. in the product development plan
    5. Support in maintaining product intelligence (competition features, pricing policy, regulation)
    6. Act as a support to the SME’s for custody product
  • Support of the sale of custody products
    1. Assist the Regional head of custody product to delivery on agreed strategy
    2. Assist the custody product manager in ensuring that the sales team have a fair command of the products and services
    3. Assist Local product managers in terms or RFP and RFI with respect to custody products
