'Mobility4you' by BNP Paribas: a widely adopted car leasing platform!

Published Today

In 2023, BNP Paribas launched Mobility4you for its customers. A digital platform that combines low-carbon mobility, budget considerations and an enhanced customer experience. Barbara Blanc, Head of Mobility for BNP Paribas’s Commercial & Personal Banking division in France, explains why this successful model has also won over La Banque Postale, which now relies on this solution to offer car leasing to its retail customers. She also shares her vision of a collaborative, inclusive and innovative approach to mobility, positioning car leasing as a driver of a fair transition.

Could you briefly outline what makes the Mobility4you digital mobility platform unique?

Barbara Blanc : At the end of 2023, BNP Paribas Mobility reached a major milestone with the launch of Mobility4you. This platform is the result of a first-of-its-kind collaboration between several Group entities – Commercial Banking in France, Arval, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, BNP Paribas Cardif and PACE (Partners in Action for Customer Experience, the entity supporting the retail units of the CPBS division) – to offer our customers, retail and corporate clients alike, a simplified “all-in-one” experience: choice of vehicle (new or used, petrol, hybrid or electric), financing (lease-to-own, long-term leasing, personal loan), insurance and related services.
What sets Mobility4you apart is our ability to cover the entire value chain, drawing on the complementary expertise of the Group’s business lines, all within a single digital platform and with expert support throughout the journey.

Mobility4you

Created for BNP Paribas’ retail customers, the Mobility4you platform brings together a comprehensive range of options within a single interface to help customers find:

'This is a real differentiator, as few players can offer this combination of advice, financing and services, all in one place"

Why did the Mobility4you platform serve as a foundation for the partnership with La Banque Postale?

Barbara Blanc : It was this comprehensive approach that convinced La Banque Postale to build on our solution to roll out its new mobility offering. “Mon Leasing Auto” is a white-label version of Mobility4you. “Our collaboration with La Banque Postale has enabled us to design and roll out a bespoke car leasing solution”, tailored to its 10 million active customers. For BNP Paribas, this partnership is recognition of our leadership in sustainable mobility. It also illustrates the effectiveness of an agile organisation and the strength of our integrated model: in less than six months, our teams from Commercial Banking in France, Arval, Personal Finance, and Group IT adapted Mobility4you to meet La Banque Postale’s requirements: proof of our agility and our ability to scale quickly. This is a real catalyst for our ambition: to reach new customers through partners who share our values of accessibility and a fair transition ‘from ownership to usership’.

How does this partnership address the challenge of making sustainable mobility accessible?

Barbara Blanc : It is a concrete example of how BNP Paribas and its partners can make sustainable mobility accessible to as many people as possible. Looking at market data, we can see that the leasing market grew by more than 4.9% in 2025 and that lease-to-own (LOA) accounted for more than 90% of new vehicle financing in 2025. As for long-term leasing (LLD), a still-emerging option for retail customers, it accounted for 13% of lease financing*. As with Mobility4you, accessibility is the hallmark of ‘Mon Leasing Auto’, designed to encourage low-carbon mobility through:

  • Tailored offers: a catalogue of over 6,500 multi-brand vehicles, including new and certified used models (with fewer than 200 km). 60% of the vehicles on offer are used (inspected and guaranteed). By focusing on low-emission vehicles, representing 50% of the catalogue, we contribute to the green transition without excluding those on tighter budgets;
  • Affordable monthly payments: half of the offers are available for less than €350 per month;
  • Hybrid local support: combining digital journeys with in-person support through the network of 6,500 post offices, ensuring guidance throughout the process, through to final delivery.
'We put the customer at the centre: whether they are a private individual, a business or a partner, such as La Banque Postale, our focus is on meeting their real needs, without jargon or complexity. It is this approach that sets us apart!'

What are BNP Paribas Mobility’s ambitions?

Barbara Blanc : Our goal is clear: to make BNP Paribas Mobility the go-to partner for a just transition, by combining financial and technological expertise with social commitment. BNP Paribas Mobility’s ambitions will focus on several priorities:

  • Following a year in 2025 dedicated to optimising Mobility4you’s operational setup across BNP Paribas network teams and launching the service for Hello bank! customers, we are continuing to enhance customer journeys, as well as strengthening offers and services that improve access to low- or zero-emission vehicles, thereby contributing to the electrification of the vehicle fleet.

  • The aim is to capitalise on our partnership with La Banque Postale. Its success paves the way for similar collaborations, in France and across Europe, replicating this model as a white-label platform or under the Mobility4you franchise.

  • with tailored mobility solutions, leveraging existing Group capabilities within a tailored ecosystem.

What sets BNP Paribas apart in such a competitive sector?

Barbara Blanc : Our Group has historically been deeply rooted in mobility, particularly the automotive sector, through its subsidiaries that lead their respective markets, such as Arval in long-term vehicle leasing and BNP Paribas Personal Finance in car leasing finance. The strength of our integrated model and the expertise of our specialised business lines position BNP Paribas as a leading mobility player in Europe. Our key strength lies in the combination of expertise and agility, digital capabilities and human support. Today, we are taking this a step further by bringing these areas of expertise together to offer simple, accessible and sustainable solutions – as demonstrated by ‘Mon Leasing Auto’.

The delivery of this partnership marks a turning point; greater openness to new powertrains and electric vehicles, increased digitalisation of search behaviour, alongside a heightened need for advice and reassurance. Today, customers want mobility solutions that fit their daily lives and specific needs: more flexible, more accessible, and tailored to their budget, while providing reassurance in their choices. With Mobility4you for BNP Paribas and Mon Leasing Auto for La Banque Postale, we have designed two platforms that meet these expectations, simplifying the experience by combining the fluidity of digital tools with expert support, while reflecting evolving usage patterns.
