BNP Paribas’ 2020 Integrated Report : accelerating the transition together

The 2020 Integrated report, "By your side", now online, reflects the strong mobilisation of our teams and the support that the Group has been keen to provide to its customers, partners and also to society in general throughout this exceptional year.

Towards a sustainable economy alongside our customers

2020 was marked by an unprecedented global health crisis, affecting our lifestyles and ways of working. This unprecedented context has underscored our essential role in supporting the economy and our utility alongside all our customers. We accompanied them in the early hours of the pandemic in the face of uncertainty and the difficulties faced by those whom the economic crisis has come to weaken.

More broadly, our Integrated Report aims to put BNP Paribas' strategy, progress and performance into perspective, presenting the Group in its ecosystem and enhancing relations with its stakeholders. In addition to introducing our businesses, expertise and solutions, this document is intended to convey the long-term vision that underpins the strategic orientations taken by BNP Paribas to respond to the economic, technological and societal changes of our time.

The 2020 edition of the Integrated Report highlights in particular the creation of the two new operating divisions, Retail Banking and Investment & Protection Services, which, alongside the Corporate & Institutional Banking division, will enable us to meet the present and future expectations of our customers and stakeholders, thanks to ever closer cooperation between all our business lines.

Together with the Universal Registration Document and annual financial report, the Integrated Report is a privileged information medium for employees and a vehicle for promoting the Group's image among shareholders, customers and investors.

What is an Integrated Report?

In order to meet the expectations of society vis-à-vis businesses, the integrated report tends to replace the activity report. Its objective is to show how the company's strategic vision and modes of organisation enable it to generate value, based on financial and extra-financial elements.
