Web Business Analyst
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an experienced Web Business Analyst to join our international, multidisciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders, web developers, and end-users, ensuring that web functionalities, user experience (UX), and conversion optimization strategies are aligned with our business objectives.
Focusing on the enhancement of our digital platforms, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting functional specifications, and mapping user journeys to identify workflow bottlenecks. You will work closely with development teams within an Agile/Scrum framework, leveraging data analysis (via SQL, BI, or Google Analytics) and emerging AI tools to measure the impact of new features against our business targets and profitability metrics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders, web developers, and end‑users.
- Requirement gathering, document functional specifications and user stories for web updates.
- Data analysis: portfolio analysis, revenue and various profitability metrics computation
- Process mapping: outline user journeys and identify workflow bottlenecks on digital platforms.
- Work with development teams during Agile sprints and testing.
- Measure the impact of new features against business targets, and existing functional base line
PROFILE & SKILLS
- Experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably aligning web strategies with business goals.
- Primary focus on a website functionality, conversion optimisation, and user experience (UX).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, HTML/CSS and web architectures.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, SQL or BI dashboards.
- Good presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to audiences of various sizes and levels of seniority.
- Deep understanding of the Scrum methodology and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Fluency in English is mandatory, as all project communication and documentation are conducted in English.
- A good understanding of AI tools and a willingness to leverage them.
