Job Title: Vice President – Senior Application Developer
Location: 525 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310
Duties: Collaborate with Front Office Trading, Sales and Quant teams to understand requirements and implementation of new product features. Develop front end and services with clean and effective code to ensure scalability and performance. Implement and integrate new features with existing analytic platform. Production support and fix bugs or other coding issues. Coordinate efforts in Testing, Build, deployment, and documentation. Develop new Securitized Products applications/components to help automate workflows for the business. Build out new web based UIs, middleware components, and backend components for the Securitized Products desk. Collaborate with Global Credit to leverage and incorporate existing technologies into the Securitized Products stack. Work with infrastructure teams to deploy and setup environments to host applications. *Telecommuting permitted 50%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc. office in Jersey City, NJ.
SALARY: $179,982 - $225,000/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and seven (7) years of experience in a job offered or a related role. Must have seven (7) years of experience with the following: software development at an investment bank; experience within Risk and P&L development; experience with Securitized Products including all asset classes (Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset Back Securities & Collateralized Loan Obligation); C# middle tier and UI development; distributed systems, real time messaging and parallel processing; Excel/VBA Programming and macros; front end development frameworks such as Angular and React; Relational Databases like MS-SQL/Oracle; and pattern and practices including CI/CD, Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Peer Review, Object Oriented Programming, and Agile Methodology.
