Position Purpose

Overall responsibility and accountability for IT / Technology recruitment function of BNP Paribas India Solutions. This is a critical senior role and will oversee IT recruitment delivery for all locations of BNP Paribas’ GCC in India. The Head of IT recruitment will also be responsible for managing a team of high performing senior recruiters in addition to being a strategic HR partner with the IT Executive Committee (ExCo) in forecasting, planning & implementation of IT recruitment strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of IT recruitment strategy and delivery in partnership with respective business and HR stakeholders.
  • Work closely with CIO and IT Department Heads on recruitment planning and implementation.
  • Understand IT business needs and design talent acquisition strategies accordingly.
  • Developing as well as maintaining strong relationships and regular communication with all senior business stakeholders.
  • Ensure we are able to identify and attract qualified IT professionals on a timely basis.
  • Regular reporting of Data and MIS on recruitment activities to senior management.
  • Translating high level business objectives into operational resourcing solutions. Ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction with respect to the recruitment process
  • Management IT recruitment team efficiently by providing direction, leadership, motivation and ensuring development of the team. Planning for attrition, capacity planning and constant readjustment to ensure business plans are delivered
  • Setting specific goals for all team members to ensure a consistent approach across the organization.
  • Work closely with early careers team to achieve desired objectives for IT business.
  • Constantly looking at ways of improving the candidate experience, whilst reducing both time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services  & L&D teams  as and when required.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on external market trends in technology recruitment, particularly those related to our industry.
  • Manage and monitor senior level hiring personally.
  • Risk Management within the IT Recruitment function to ensure adherence to all SOPs and Talent acquisition guidelines. Ensure proper controls are introduced and executed and risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

Proven experience in IT recruitment as well as people management.

Strong understanding of IT skills, roles, technologies and IT job market.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer and process orientation.

Experience of working with local and global senior stakeholders.

Ability to influence, negotiate and adapt.

Ability to comfortably work with data and use it to make informed decisions.

Result and solution oriented.

Ability to anticipate business/strategic evolution

Specific Qualifications:

Graduate or post-graduate with 15+ years of overall experience in talent acquisition and at least 10 years in technology hiring. Experience of hiring in a Banking GCC or BFSI domain is highly preferred and will be a big plus.
