Responsibilities:
- Direct daily triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of incidents across Calypso, XSP, and all in‑house settlement tools logged in ServiceNow.
- Ensure 2nd‑line specialists receive clear, well‑documented work‑packages and that escalations follow the defined matrix.
- Conduct weekly post‑mortems for high‑impact incidents; drive corrective‑action plans that reduce repeat occurrences.
- Perform regular SoD and EoD reviews and remediation. Ensure communication handover of issues between regions.
- Supervise daily break‑reconciliation reviews, start‑of‑day, intraday, and end‑of‑day health checks on Calypso, XSP, and supporting in‑house utilities.
- Own the regional monitoring framework (Autosys, custom scripts, Dynatrace dashboards) and continuously improve alerting and automation.
- Identify repetitive support tasks across the settlement stack and develop Shell/Python/SQL scripts (or RPA bots) to automate monitoring, reconciliation, and batch‑job validation.
- Track and report efficiency gains (time, cost, error reduction).
- Serve as NA’s primary liaison with the Global Settlement‑Support Team.
- Coordinate ticket, job‑schedule, and change hand‑offs with EMEA and APAC support centers for Calypso, XSP, and all proprietary tools.
- Participate in global governance forums (Incident Review Board, Change Advisory Board).
- Produce weekly/monthly KPI dashboards (availability, incident trends, MTTR, automation coverage) for senior leadership.
- Maintain up‑to‑date SOPs, run‑books, and knowledge‑base articles in ServiceNow and internal wikis for each platform.
- Lead quarterly training sessions for NA support staff and key business users.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- SQL – writing, tuning, and extracting settlement data.
Unix/Linux – shell scripting, job‑scheduling, OS‑level troubleshooting.
- Calypso – workflow configuration, settlement processing, engine‑log analysis, scheduled tasks, Calypso Objects, and Task Station troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with in‑house settlement utilities (data feeds, enrichment tools, reconciliation engines).
- Proven experience with ServiceNow (incident/problem management) and Jira.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and to present findings to senior stakeholders across regions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands on experience administering users, groups, and ACLs across multiple settlement platforms.
- Understanding of U.S. domestic settlement (DTC/Bonny) and international settlement via SWIFT for equities, ETFs, fixed income, and wire transfers. Knowledge of CASS regulatory requirements..
- Familiarity with software development life cycle, change management controls, and audit/compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI DSS).
- Experience with Autosys, Control M, or comparable enterprise schedulers used to drive settlement batch jobs.
- Experience with monitoring platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, Nagios, or similar).
- Anticipates future settlement‑application needs and aligns NA initiatives with global objectives.
- Drives thorough root‑cause analysis and implements permanent fixes, reducing repeat incidents.
- Influences cross‑functional, global teams without direct authority; builds consensus and trust.
- Maintains rigorous documentation, controls, and regulatory compliance across all platforms.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $145,000 to $195,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
