Job Title: Vice President, ERI Origination & Structuring
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Execute and originate project and structured finance deals with a focus on energy and infrastructure. Project and financing documentation & closing process, interfacing with counsels and negotiating deal points and legal documentation with clients. Oversee junior resources and provide guidance/supervise all financing efforts (particularly with a focus on long-term cash flow models that take into account various commodity, hedging and operating assumptions to ascertain project values and appropriate debt levels). Manage small deal teams and take ownership/responsibility for internal and external transaction processes. Coordinate and oversee work on project due diligence liaising with consultants (legal, technical, environmental, insurance, tax, etc). Structure and advise on best structures and products to achieve the clients' goals. Use the full resources of the Bank to bring to bear the best solutions and structures for the client. Structure and close bank, project bond, private placement and/or TLB financings. Execute lead arranged (bond or bank) or advisory limited recourse or structured financings. Work with Coverage, Syndications, Global Markets (debt capital market & derivatives), M&A, etc. Prepare credit proposals that include sound credit and risk analysis. Market to potential clients (pitches, proposals and presentations). Execute and supervise credit approvals and due diligence process. *10% domestic travel required. *Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in New York, NY.
SALARY: $179,088.00 USD - $235,000.00 USD/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Environmental Engineering, or related field and four (4) years of experience with Project finance, banking or related role. Must have four (4) years of experience with: Project Finance and/or Structured Finance deal execution experience; Energy and/or Infrastructure sector knowledge; and strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and modelling skills. Must have two (2) years of experience training and managing Junior Staff.
