MISSION
As a Desktop HVD Specialist, you will design, build, and provide level 2 support for our virtual and physical remote PC infrastructure. You will join the Desktop HVD Team to manage XenDesktop environments and ensure high performance for all users. Your work directly impacts the stability of our production environment and the user experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage incidents and service requests within the Citrix XenDesktop infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for virtual desktop and remote PC users.
- Monitor the health and performance of HVD and Remote PC systems.
- Perform lifecycle management, including new builds, security patches, and upgrades.
- Conduct testing and draft clear operational procedures and runbooks.
- Participate in technical projects, infrastructure migrations, and disaster recovery operations.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM processes regarding incident, problem, and change management.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a large multinational environment.
- You possess strong skills in Citrix XenDesktop and virtualization technologies.
- You are proficient in Windows 10/11 configuration and Microsoft Active Directory (GPOs).
- You can use PowerShell and VBS scripting for automation and data collection.
- You are comfortable with ITSM tools and collaborating with network and storage teams.
- You speak fluent English; French skills are a valuable plus.
- You are willing to participate in on-call rotations and planned interventions.
- Knowledge of SCCM, SQL, or ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
