As a Technology Referent within the IT Agile Production Services ( TechEx ) tribe, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our critical IT services. Technology Referent – Detailed Responsibilities

  • Cloud Expertise & Support
    • Serve as the subject-matter expert on cloud offerings, providing guidance and support for Cloud services within the assigned portfolio.
    • Document usage guidelines, best practices, and underlying processes for Cloud service adoption.
  • Technical Advisory & Collaboration
    • Act as a sounding board for APS Technology Referents and Engineers, offering expert advice on technology service patterns for business projects.
    • Assist APS engineers in implementing and optimizing technology solutions (processes, methodologies, etc.).
  • Asset & Lifecycle Management
    • Ensure efficient management of assigned assets, including capacity planning, lifecycle management (LCM), and alignment with Group technology roadmaps.
  • Risk, Security & Continuity
    • Monitor and address vulnerabilities, risks, and business continuity requirements to maintain operational resilience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
    • Organize and facilitate operational service meetings with Group counterparts to ensure alignment and collaboration.
    • Lead the Community of Practice (CoP) for the technology domain, fostering knowledge-sharing and cross-team expertise among IT OPS teams.
  • Strategic Reporting & Leadership
    • Prepare and present quarterly Product Board updates to management, covering technology roadmaps, risks, and key challenges.
  • Operational Excellence & Monitoring
    • Proactively monitor, analyze, and mitigate risks in the production environment using tools (e.g., Dynatrace) to safeguard service availability and client experience.
    • Design and maintain monitoring systems, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms to drive data-informed improvements.
  • Work Environment
    • Benefit from a hybrid work model (50% remote) with access to a modern office located near Brussels Central Station, promoting both focus and collaboration.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES 

  • You are a results-driven problem-solver with a keen ability to anticipate operational risks and implement proactive solutions in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, combining technical expertise with strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and align teams on reliability goals.
  • You have  deep knowledge of IT infrastructure (cloud environments), monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace), and Incident/Problem Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) - prior expertise is a must.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or university degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on operational quality, observability, or system reliability.
  • You communicate fluently in English (C1) and are proficient in at least one national language (French or Dutch, B2) to engage effectively with local and international teams.
  • You embody ownership and accountability, taking initiative to resolve complex issues while balancing client-centricity and technical precision.
  • You are adaptable and eager to learn, staying ahead of industry trends in SRE practices, automation, and IT resilience.
