The Opportunity
Strutt & Parker have various exciting opportunities within London Residential Valuations and are currently looking for driven individuals to join the team. Successful candidates will contribute to the execution of Residential valuation engagements for a range of residential assets across Super Prime London, Prime London and in Home County locations just beyond the M25.
Depending on the level of experience, you will provide technical oversight and high-quality valuation advice to clients. You will support the evolution of valuation methodologies to meet market changes and regulatory requirements. You will have the versatility and experience to deal with the valuation of a wide variety of residential property to include some of the Capital’s most desirable and high value residences, as well as complex and challenging valuations of complex properties and held on complex tenure structures. Working as part of a collaborative and highly regarded Residential Valuation team, you will contribute to overall service delivery and support wider business development initiatives. You will have already established strong and durable relationships with valuation clients and will be expected to nurture and expand our long-established client base.
You will have exposure to an exciting variety of urban residential valuation work across the residential property sectors and be part of an extensive team of over 70 Registered Valuers across the wider Strutt & Parker network, who specialise in Rural and Residential Valuation.

Responsibilities
• Execute RICS Red Book-compliant valuations from instruction through to completion.
• Manage existing client relationships on a day-to-day basis
• Ensure all reports meet RICS standards and internal policies; participate in internal and external audits related to valuation processes.
• Identify and pursue potential new business opportunities and contribute toward the team’s fee-earning targets.
• Managing instructions or subsections of major projects
• Enhancing Strutt & Parker’s reputation through timely and successful delivery of valuation reports and advice.
• Sharing knowledge with and providing information to colleagues and the wider team
• Maximising efficiency and optimising the profitability of work for the team.
Experience (dependent on level)
• Provide final sign-off and quality control for complex, high-value, or high-risk residential assets.
• Lead internal and external audits related to valuation processes.
• Act as a technical authority for residential valuations across the UK, ensuring all reports meet RICS standards and internal policies.
• Team management, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals.
• Evaluating, adapting and improving standards, techniques and procedures.
Requirements
• Education: Degree level education.
• Professional Qualifications: MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer.
• Software: Knowledge of Argus Developer or other professional valuation software is preferred but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Experience
• Experience in valuing a range of residential properties (e.g., prime London, regional hubs, high-net-worth estates).
• Experience of residential development valuations.
• Proven record of delivery in the UK property market within a consultancy or client background, focused on valuation work.
• Experience in managing a varied and dynamic workload.
• Experience or an interest in driving growth, profitability, and business generation.
• Microsoft package proficient.
