Responsibilities : 

Direct Responsibilities

Share common objectives of availability and performance of the production with the development teams.

Anticipate and keep under control the SLO (Service Level Objectives) risks and impacts of the active’s services related to operations within his scope by:

  • End‑to‑end service ownership – partner with development squads from project scoping onward to embed reliability, security, and cost‑efficiency into design.
  • Automation first – design, build and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD, GitLab CI) and configuration‑as‑code artefacts (Ansible, Helm) that replace manual steps.
  • Platform evolution – continuously assess existing tooling, identify technical debt, and deliver concrete improvements (e.g., refactor scripts to Python, migrate legacy jobs to container‑native runners).
  • Resilience engineering – implement SLO/SLA monitoring, error‑budget tracking, and automated remediation (self‑healing, chaos testing).
  • Incident leadership – lead rapid response, conduct root‑cause analysis, and publish post‑mortems with actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge sharing – produce run‑books, internal training, and reusable modules for the SRE guild and wider community.

Contributing Responsibilities

Escalating proposals to improve application production services as part of a continuous improvement process; Identifying best practices and sharing them within your entity and within the group. Ensuring that up-to-date and validated installation and operating documentation is available;Providing the team with the right expertise / production services:

· Service monitoring

· Technical environments (Production and non-Production);

Facilitating solution deployment

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

The SRE is responsible for maintaining the production platform’s availability, integrity, resilience and quality by defining and monitoring service‑level objectives (SLOs) that reflect relevant trade and customer indicators, and by rebuilding services when incidents occur using appropriate resources. 

It fosters a DevOps culture that collaborates closely with development and operations teams to anticipate the impact of planned changes, incorporates operational constraints early, and ensures proper monitoring, alerting and visual score‑cards that reflect user‑experience health for informed decision‑making. 

Continuous improvement is driven through the identification and prioritisation of automation and industrialisation pathways, the creation of maintainable automation scripts, and agile‑aligned development practices to optimise resilience, performance and cost. 

The SRE also manages security, obsolescence and non‑conformities, securing budgeted remediation in coordination with production and IT business lines, while contributing to the community by producing training documentation, reusable learning content and analytical post‑mortems.

Specific Qualifications:

The SRE at Technology Office & Expertise is the key user for improvement of all the tools and services provided by the team.

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

• Kubernetes (cluster design, operators, Helm)

• Docker / OCI containers

• GitOps – Argo CD, GitLab CI, Jenkins pipelines

• Infrastructure as Code – Ansible, Terraform, Helm charts

• Linux system administration (Bash, Python scripting, performance tuning)

• Python – automation scripts, API integrations, tooling

• Observability – Dynatrace, Prometheus, OpenSearch or similar monitoring tools

• Cloud networking – firewall, service mesh, security (Vault)

• Software‑development experience – Experience with design, build, test, and ship production services (e.g., micro‑services, APIs, libraries). Ability to write clean, maintainable code and to use version‑control, CI/CD, and testing practices as part of reliability work.
