Risk management Specialist / Management Board support (k/m)

Role Overview: 
 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Risk Management Specialist to join our team, offering key support to the Management Board. This pivotal role involves coordinating and enhancing our Permanent Control system, ensuring adherence to operational risk norms, and facilitating a robust Business Continuity Plan. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence, compliance, and risk mitigation across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Risk & Operational Control

  • Coordinate and enhance the implementation, execution and reporting of the Permanent Control framework in alignment with BNP Paribas standards. Performance of the controls as an OPC coordinator (1 lod), management of Action Plans, HI, TPRM (Third Party Risk Management).
  • Ensure consistent application of Group operational risk norms, procedures and methodologies, adapting them to local business specific
  • Oversee and maintain the Business Continuity Plan, ensuring procedures, preventive measures and controls remain effective and up to date.
  • Coordinate the implementation of required control procedures across departments and oversee incident management processes.
  • Act as a secondary contact point for GDPR matters, working closely with the local Data Protection Officer and Group stakeholders.

Executive Support (approx. 20–30%)

  • Provide structured and proactive support to the CEO in selected management and coordination activities.
  • Ensure smooth preparation and follow-up of key meetings and internal governance processes.
  • Support efficient information flow between the CEO and key internal stakeholders.

Candidate profile:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in risk or internal control departments, covering diverse projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in drafting, updating, and implementing procedures.
  • Proven experience in networking and fostering internal relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards.
  • Fluent in English, French will be an advantage 
  • Highly organized and pragmatic, with a keen ability to prioritize tasks and manage KPIs.
  • Capable of leading internal projects and delivering results effectively.
