About the role
As a Vehicle Purchaser, you will be the vital link between our Sales function and external dealerships. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are placed in an accurate and timely manner.
You will act as a first point of contact for all internal and external colleagues, suppliers and customers to ensure delivery of excellent customer service. Managing queries and complaints, you will be responsible for owning and finding resolution, to ensure customer satisfaction. Working as part of a busy yet supportive team, you will manage your workload as well as working alongside colleagues when necessary. Cross Skilling is required within this team to support the wider department with cover. This will involve Admin tasks and customer service in different business areas.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Entering key data into the system from our Sales team for dealerships and third parties.
- Making sure quotes on the system match up with the prices our sales team are quoting customers
- Taking calls from customers and internal stakeholders regarding new vehicle purchases
- Look for opportunities to raise the profile of Fleet Operations and create a positive perception across the business
What we’re looking for
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Delivering great customer service is key, you will be a team player who is computer literate with fantastic attention to detail. As a Vehicle Purchaser you’ll be focused on the details of the orders, so keen attention to detail is key.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cope with varying workloads and pressure and support colleagues with the same
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Adept at managing conflicting priorities and making timely decisions within parameters of role
- Experience of influencing and negotiating with others to achieve desired results
The package
We offer a basic starting salary of £23,751 plus a bonus of up to £1,100. We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
