MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

  

Responsible for the research, coordination and management, specifically planning, designing, budgeting, execution and closure of assigned projects for a specific business.
Scope of projects may include (but is not limited to) simplifying processes, improving efficiencies, and addressing issues arising from changing business needs, compliance/regulatory requirements, installation or coordination of emerging technologies, new systems and applications etc.
Acts as primary point of contact, information hub, and escalation point for smaller projects within an assigned function for all stakeholders including all functional departments, Clients, and Third Party Suppliers

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

-Consolidate project status reports across all entities to create weekly and monthly detailed portfolio reports.
-Ensure weekly project status reports and documentation are updated and stored in appropriate SharePoint location for easy access for Senior Management.
-Establishes and conducts meetings to communicate objectives, expectations, project roles, status updates, track open issues, and work with all groups and clients to resolve issues as required.
-Scopes project and develops Implementation Project Plan and Change Control process for distribution to project participants.
-Gathers and reports project costing, identifies risks and develops risk mitigation plans. Develops measurable project goals and objectives and monitors progress toward achievement.
-Drives implementation consistency and quality through execution of project management best practices. Responsible for the project until deliverables are completed.
-Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies.
-Develops detailed project plans including documentation, testing and executing protocol, tasks, budgets, timelines, and status metrics/.
-Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
-Participates in establishing policies and procedures that are consistent with overall company policies and operating objectives.
-Liaise with the business, development team and technology on an ongoing basis. Responsible for effective communication to all business partners and users to ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to implementation.
-Evaluate data gathered from multiple servicing and other source systems reconcile differences, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to understand and distinguish optional user requests from business requirements.
-Conduct user acceptance testing as it relates to the technology solutions.
-Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.
-Advises and leads in the planning and implementation of projects and strategic initiatives for the business unit/ department.
-Drives business team members to define business needs through utilization of effective elicitation techniques.
-Evaluates data gathered from multiple sources, reconciles differences, and ensures consistent approaches, data interpretation, and results measurements are employed.
-Performs other duties as assigned


TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
-May have practical knowledge of project management.
-Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience.
-Proficiency in MS Project, Visio and Excel or other project management software. Experience in creating macros and dashboards in Excel for reports.
-Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or similar degree.
