For our Collection department, we are looking for a Litigation Officer

For this position, you are responsible for files follow-up of Litigation and Bankruptcy. Therefore, you are daily in contact with lawyers, trustees or our external partner in order to optimise the recovery of claims and complete each case accordingly.

Your main tasks are:

  • Administrative follow-up of each case in "bankruptcy” or "litigation”.
  • Take all necessary steps to promote the recovery of open claims
  • Work closely with lawyers, curators or our external partner.
  • Introduction and follow-up of bankruptcy cases in REGSOL.
  • Preparation of legal files.
  • Monitoring of cases involving collective debt settlement, legal reorganisation, etc.

Your profile:

  • You are a conscientious and punctual person.
  • You organise your work independently and ensure a qualitative follow-up of your files.
  • You have experience in Collection sector with a good knowledge of the legal framework around the Collection procedures.
  • Excellent oral & written knowledge of the Dutch and French. Proficiency in English is an asset.
  • You work proactively, anticipate situations in order to find the best solution for the customer and also for Arval.
  • You enjoy working as a team player.
  • You are customer-oriented and solution-oriented.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS-Office.
