Junior/Mid Fund Accountant - Reporting
ABOUT THE JOB
Join BNP Paribas S.A. Branch in Poland as a (Junior) Fund Accountant, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations. You will work within a collaborative environment, focusing on fund accounting precision and reconciliation to support our growing operational scope in Poland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review monthly trustee and control packs to ensure the absolute correctness of Net Asset Value calculations.
- Investigate simple queries from internal and external stakeholders, providing clear justifications and necessary supporting documentation.
- Reconcile cash balances between the Fund Accounting system and Custody to identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Calculate effective yields on bonds to detect and report any deviations above agreed thresholds.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives to expand technical expertise and maintain seamless team operations through effective knowledge sharing.
- Maintain close relationships with team members and clients to ensure smooth and timely issue resolution.
PROFILE & SKILLS
- Foundational knowledge or interest in Fund Accounting and Asset Services
- Previous working experience in finance, banking or investment funds would be considered as an asset
- Fluent English (min. B2)
- Proficient command of MS Office, specifically advanced Excel skills for data handling.
- Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and share knowledge within a team environment.
