Position Purpose

As a JIRA Engineer, you will ensure the smooth operation, customization, and continuous improvement of the Atlassian platform. You will work closely with global teams to implement processes, manage incidents, and drive enhancements that align with business needs.
Within the Employer Experience team, you will contribute to the support and development of applications used across 29 Arval countries. The primary focus is on the JIRA and JSM (Jira Service Management) platforms, which are essential for supporting IT system development, maintenance, and back-office operations for Arval’s business lines globally. This role is part of a transformation initiative, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with both IT and business stakeholders. Collaboration with international teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Implement standard changes and evolutions in existing workflows.

·       Set user rights and access via MyAccess (BNP Tool) and Atlassian platforms

·       Contribute to gathering user requirements and defining specifications

·       Analyze and design enhancements around JIRA/JSM products

·       Develop test cases, execute tests, identify and resolve malfunctions

·       Carry out software development/configuration, test and assemble components, deploy solutions, and write/update documentation

·       Collaborate with stakeholders (Infrastructure, Business, IT, DevOps, DBA, etc.).

·       Track and report on support KPIs (reporting, communication, etc.).

·       Ensure compliance with established governance and security rules. 

·       Monitor, manage incidents and service requests linked to JIRA and JSM.

·       Provide maintenance, support, and user assistance

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Required Skills:

·                Proven experience as a JIRA administrator (minimum 1 year preferred).

·                JIRA certification (ACP-100 or ACP-120) is a strong plus.

·                Solid knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (plugins, marketplace, integrations).

·                Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·                Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), as you will interact with teams in 28+ countries.

·                Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

·                Proficiency in workflow management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
