The position at a glance
This role supports BNP Paribas’ mission by ensuring stability and reliability within our technological ecosystem through effective ITSM Change Management facilitation. The main objective is to provide guidance and support for the CIB Americas Region to minimize service disruptions during transitions. By managing change requests and impact assessments, this position protects the integrity of our critical IT services.
In detail
- Validates change requests during the intake process to ensure all required information is present for accurate assessment.
- Conducts risk and impact assessments on proposed changes to prevent service disruptions within the AMER region.
- Facilitates weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to coordinate approvals and authorizations across technical teams.
- Coordinates change execution schedules to ensure seamless transitions and minimize conflicts between simultaneous updates.
- Manages CMDB and application repositories to maintain high data quality and accurate configuration mapping.
- Performs trend analysis using reporting tools to drive continuous improvement and identify automation opportunities.
- Provides compliance and audit support by maintaining rigorous documentation standards for all change activities.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Incident and Problem Management, to resolve complex service issues.
- Shares knowledge and communicates updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment across globally distributed groups.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration (IT Focus), or a related discipline.
- ITILv4 Managing Professional, ServiceNow System Administrator, or PMP.
- The knowledge of English and French is required.*
- Minimum of 5 years of exposure to IT Change Management components and working within a mature ISO-certified framework.
- Expert-level ServiceNow knowledge when managing Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB modules.
- Reasoned problem solving when addressing data quality and complex ITSM inter-relationships.
- Collaborative stakeholder management when facilitating meetings and working with globally dispersed teams.
- Responsible prioritization when managing multiple changes to meet strict SLA deadlines.
- Committed attention to detail when maintaining documentation and compliance standards.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Python to perform reporting and trend analysis.
- Learning agility when adopting new tools, processes, or regulatory requirements.
