As the IT Lead Architect within the IT Strategy & Architecture tribe, you’re on a mission to define the architecture and support all business initiatives, ensuring optimal IT solutions across all dimensions (performance, costs, security, User eXperience,…).
You manage both the long-term architectural vision for the tribe and the prompt delivery of detailed architectures, making sure that they will systematically bring our vision to life, all while considering the tribe's delivery constraints.
Your activities include:
• Leading the architectural vision for your tribe
• Providing direction to the Tribe Architects, ensuring their work aligns with the architectural vision
• Validating and defending your team’s architectural content before the validation committees
• Collaborating closely with the IT Tribe Lead and the main tribe stakeholders.
• Planning all your team’s work and assigning tasks (initiative visions, transversal patterns and individual architectural opus deliverables)
Your Talents and Skills
The following qualities and skills are important for this position:
• You’re known for your good social skills and empathic mind: you can relate to the feelings and sentiments of the people in your team, and you’re a facilitator with good negotiation skills when dealing with stakeholders.
• Experience in managing, coaching and mentoring team members is a plus.
• You are creative, and have a passion for technology and innovation.
• You boast at least 10 years experience in IT, business analysis or software development.
• You have experience in architecture frameworks, EA tooling, legacy modernization, and architecture explicit contribution to complexity reduction.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and cloud technologies is a plus.
• You have experience with working in complex environments, managing change and senior stakeholders.
• You have a proven ability to provide management with expert consulting services, and to help stakeholders resolve dependencies and conflicts.
• You have very good presentation skills. You build convincing presentations and story lines.
• You are proficient in at least two of French, Dutch or English languages. You can at least passively understand your team members in their native language.
