BNP Paribas Investment Banking CEE team is based in Warsaw, Paris, Prague, Vienna and Istanbul and is responsible for origination and execution of transactions across the region and across sectors. BNP Paribas is the leading European investment bank and one of the most active financial advisors in Poland and CEE.

Investment Banking Analyst

Location: Warsaw

Job description:

• Work in an international investment banking team on transactions in Poland and across Central and Eastern Europe
• Participate in M&A and ECM transactions as a member of the execution team and cooperate with financing and global markets specialists
• Cooperate with BNP Paribas investment banking sector and product teams in Paris, London and Frankfurt
• Create financial models and perform valuation analysis (DCF, multiples, LBO, etc.)
• Support preparation of marketing materials and other transaction documents (teasers, information memorandums, management presentations, valuation reports, offers)
• Manage due diligence workstreams (process coordination, VDR, investors' Q&A)
• Research on sector trends, acquisition targets and prospective investors
• Actively participate in all aspects of origination efforts (prepare pitch materials, attend client meetings etc.)

What we expect:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred majors: finance, banking, economics)
• Minimum 1 year of investment banking/private equity experience
• Analytical skills, very good knowledge of corporate finance and financial analysis
• Experience in financial modelling and business valuation
• High motivation and responsibility for the work performed
• Strong drive to develop and broaden competences
• Ability to clearly communicate, express conclusions, concerns and recommendations, ideally backed by experience in dealing with external stakeholders, e.g. clients and advisors
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks
• High proficiency in operating MS Office Suite
• Fluency in English and Polish
