Context and Challenges

The Luxembourg branch is a key hub, delivering high‑value‑added solutions such as securities custody, securities‑lending, fund administration, performance measurement, ratings, and bond‑issuance services.

To support the rapid expansion of this business, BNP Paribas is seeking a Head of Production & Client Service – Passive Currency Overlay (PCO).

Your Mission – Day‑to‑Day

As the leader of the PCO team you will guarantee the smooth, risk‑controlled delivery of daily production and client service.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Production Management – Allocate tasks, plan resources (including holiday coverage), and monitor performance and control quality, with a particular focus on Credit Risk.
  • Operational Framework – Conduct Client Service Reviews, manage service deviations, and proactively propose process‑ and control‑improvements.
  • Team Leadership – Supervise the PCO Front Officers, provide daily support, recruit and train new talent, and maintain the required capacity and expertise.
  • Procedures & Contracts – Own the Business Continuity Plan, document all SLAs between entities, and uphold a robust risk‑management framework.
  • On‑Boarding Coordination – Validate transition plans, sign‑off onboarding check‑lists, and ensure seamless hand‑overs with the structuring team.
  • Conduct Governance – Apply the BNP Paribas Code of Conduct, monitor conduct risks, and ensure that conduct principles are consistently applied.

Who We are Looking For

Professional experience and/or degree

·         Professional Experience: +10 years in Asset Management, Fund Accounting, Middle Office or a Passive Currency Overlay function.

·         Academic background: Bac +5 student from an Engineering school, University or Business school (preferably with a Market Finance specialization).

·         Behavioural skills: Rigorous, organised, detail‑oriented; proactive problem‑solver; excellent communicator; comfortable working under pressure; curious and adaptable.

·         Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of FX markets and instruments; strong proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, complex formulas) and VBA; ability to analyse and interpret financial data.

·         Transversal abilities: Analytical & critical thinking; multitasking with high accuracy; appetite for continuous improvement and innovation.

·         Languages: Fluent in French & English (written & spoken). Any additional language is a plus.
