The BNP Paribas Fortis Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) department supports IT and Business Units to develop adequate solutions on operational risk management practices, focusing but not restricted to Information Security. As Head of the IT and Cyber Risk Management team you lead our team of 6 experts, who are dedicated to identifying, advising, consulting, monitoring and reporting on IT and Cyber risks to minimize overall IT risk exposure at an optimize cost.
AND IN DETAIL
- You are responsible for the people management and overall team organization. You enable the organization and planning of the team following the Agile methodology and principles.
- You grow your team members by coaching, challenging and stretching them. Empowering, giving and receiving feedback, creating open and respectful culture is key for you.
- You continuously seek to optimize process, procedures, communication, tools and to facilitate interactions with other internal and group risk management stakeholders.
- You become the Agile Process Owner of the IT Risk Management and are responsible for the good implementation of the IT and Cyber Risk Management practice.
- You animate the IT risk management community.
- You are the guardian of the quality of the IT Risk Registry and the Shadow IT inventory.
- You establish clear roles and responsibilities (RACI) for the security activities on information assets and support the deployment of the Group security classification tool.
- You deliver advice and support on IT risk management to internal customers (IT and Business), challenge IT risk assessments, propose actions to mitigate IT risks.
- You are responsible for the accurate reporting of the IT and Cyber Risk management exposure of the bank towards the risk owners but also the different IT Risk and Cyber Security governance bodies.
- You will report to the IT Risk Officer.

- You have experience on different domains of IT infrastructure, architecture and security, and can combine them with a keen sense of risk monitoring and mitigation.
- With a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and trends, you can develop and implement effective risk management strategies that protect our organization's assets and reputation.
- You are fluent in French, Dutch and English.
- You have basic Microsoft Excel skills and are ready to learn how to use Service Now GRC instance.
