Position Purpose

Governance officer will work as a transversal function within CIO office, delivery efficiency team to support implementation of group IT governance across WMIS entity. Governance officer will act as an auditor to review the overall implementation and will guide the teams through organizing and facilitating decision making committees. Governance officer will be responsible to ensure all the projects pass through respective governance gates by organizing regular committees with the parties involved for approval. Governance officer will also act as a stakeholder in new initiatives to provide overview on existing governance processes/practices to ensure alignment of new initiatives to the existing governance framework.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Define the principles of IT governance and support the deployment

·       Organize, advise and coordinate the IT governance committees

·       Draft IT governance procedure and support their deployment

·       Ensure implementation of IT governance rules across WMIS

·       Facilitate and prepare for the various process gates in the project lifecycle, including IPO, ARC, ITSVC, SCAM, CAB meetings, GO/NO-GO decision committee, and Governance committee

·       Validate and approve the Project/Product when it reaches the governance gate

·       Maintain IT governance repository, a centralized SharePoint site that holds templates, procedures, and guidelines for all transversal and cross-functional teams

·       Responsible for publishing validated documents and maintaining their accuracy and updates in IT Governance repository

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Represent Governance team in organization discussion on new process implementation and provide inputs from Governance perspective

·       Support in implementation of Jira workflow, AI4IT and other initiatives that directly impact Governance
