Fund Accountant - Graduate Programme 

Are you a graduate or pursuing last year of studies, looking to kickstart your finance career in accounting? 

BNP Paribas Fund Accounting Academy is a 2-year graduate programme in which you will gain broad experience via rotation across each of our 4 Fund Accounting departments (Private Capital, Hedge Funds, Investment & Fund Services, Banking Service Operations). 

Your development will be supported by a comprehensive training programme, and you will also have the opportunity to enrol in the ACCA qualification, which will be co-financed by BNP Paribas.

Requirements:

  • A finance or accounting graduate or last year student, with ability to work in full time schedule
  • Fluent in English
  • Analytical mindset and skilled in mathematics
  • Excel proficiency is a plus
  • Able to work effectively as a team player
  • Self-motivated to develop
  • Client focused
  • Willing to take on new challenges and look for improvements
  • Able to work effectively and demonstrate initiative
  • A good communicator
     

Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately analyse and record a wide variety of financial transactions and instruments
  • Calculate NAV of investment funds
  • Produce various types of financial reports
  • Analyse and resolve ad-hoc requests and queries from stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
  • Working on various type of the system applications including accounting systems
  • Familiarise with a variety of investment fund structures and strategies
  • Reconciliation of cash/asset/broker accounts and similar
