Position Purpose
To market and execute Flow Equity Derivatives to/with institutional clients in Asia, Europe and the Americas, working in close collaboration with team members and partners across the Global Equity business and other Global Business Lines.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- To contribute significantly to the growth of our Flow Equity Derivative business among the global client base, delivering market intelligence, economist content and trade ideas, with a focus on Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Asset Owners.
- To strengthen our position and visibility with the Institutional client base in Asia, Europe and the US unlocking new and complementary revenue streams across the above client base.
- To grow Equity Derivatives Flow revenues in line with targets.
- To work in close collaboration with the peers across global platforms and other business lines in order to contribute to the wider growth of Global Markets.
Standard EQD Role Responsibilities
- To contribute actively to the product and solutions development for the above client base. In particular, collaborate with Structuring, Trading and Research teams to provide customized solutions and create a relevant product offering for the client base.
- To build strong relationships with team members and collaborate closely with key internal partners in DEC, Prime Brokerage and Cash Equities with a view to diversify and expand the existing client franchise.
Conduct Responsibilities
- To contribute to the Permanent Control framework
- To ensure proper control on various risk aspects (operational, reputational, counterparty…) of client business.
- To work in line with all compliance, legal and bank guidelines, policies and framework.
- To contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day‐to‐day business activities, such as Control Plan.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
- Comply with individual mandates and Code of Conduct ,Sign off on ORUS
- Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedure
