The position you’re applying for
You will be the catalyst that links innovative Dutch scale‑ups with BNP Paribas’ expertise, helping shape Europe’s next wave of technology‑driven growth while delivering measurable results for the bank and its clients. In this position you will act as the pilot banker for Innovative / Growth Capital Clients. Your position is part of the Corporate Clients Group (CCG), which is responsible for managing the relationship worldwide between BNP Paribas and its corporate clients, facilitating access to the Bank’s complete and integrated product offering across the Dutch platform and worldwide. The CCG also includes the Advisory team, responsible for the origination and execution of corporate finance and M&A advisory services.
In this role, you will report locally to the Head of Corporate Coverage Netherlands and functionally to the senior management of Growth Capital & Solutions EMEA ensuring a strong local impact within the Dutch BNPP platform and client base as to the broader EMEA BNPP Innovation economy platform.
You will have full ownership of client relationships and deal origination and you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of the 3 thematic vertical- Fintech / NextGenTech / Climate Tech Infra, bringing together the senior relationship manager, and advisory experts to contribute to the strategy of the vertical. You will be expected to lead workstreams and drive strategy in the team to support the business and the development of the BNP Paribas GC&S franchise in the Netherlands to achieve its objectives and aspirations. Given the nature of the team’s activities, the role will also involve prospecting and working closely with the representatives of the different Business Lines.
Your responsibilities
- Building your client portfolio and originate high value-added client transactions with primary focus on Private Placement, M&A, ECM and DCM as well as other investment banking strategic transactions.
- Manage and expand Bank’s footprint on flow banking business (Cash Management, Trade Services, Global Market, Security Services and other transaction banking business).
- Act as a role model by working well together with those around you. Embody and practice the Group values (alignment with the Bank’s strategy, work ethics, integrity, Code of Conduct) as it provides us the best compass for our actions.

- You have several years of experience in a similar role
