Job Title: Delivery Manager/Scrum Master

Department: IFS - IRP

About Business line/Function: BP2S-IFS/IRP-ADM

Position Purpose: IRP business is established across various geographies with a main location in Paris. IT teams should reinforce the growth of the business. Besides implementing a market-leading vendor solution as the core calculation engine, the IRP-RISE program also involves recasting of the IRP information system exploiting innovation tracks offered by the IRP Data Platform (IDP) as the new Data Warehouse.

The Delivery Manager operates within a matrix structure, overseeing the end‑to‑end delivery of solutions across all platforms. They are accountable for coordinating development teams, steering delivery schedules, and ensuring that agreed‑upon service levels and quality standards are met.

In this role, the Delivery Manager blends technical understanding with strong project‑management discipline to guarantee that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required standards, while fostering collaboration across the organization’s matrixed teams.
 
 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·         Planning –Planning activities include:

o   Produce the Detailed Project Plan

o   Develop the project budget

o   Develop the resource plan

o   Risk analysis

o   Adhere to the policies and procedures to support the achievement of project objectives.

·         Organising – setting up the project team structure, activities to include:

o   Determining the organisational structure of the project team

o   Identify roles and positions

o   Identify services to be provided by external companies

o   Staff project positions

·         Leading – carrying out the project plan in order to achieve the project objectives, activities include:

o   Setting team direction

o   Co-ordinating activities across different organisational functions

o   Motivating team members

o   Assigning work

·         Controlling – keeping the project on track by:

o   Measuring: checking project progress toward meeting its objectives

o   Evaluating: determining the cause of deviations from the plan

o   Correcting: Taking corrective actions to address deviations by managing risks and issues

o   Achieving the above by defining project baselines, tracking project progress and project status reporting, determining and taking corrective actions.

  • Quality Management:

o   Ensure appropriate corporate tool is used for change requests, support and incident tracking

·         Benefits realisation

o   Throughout the life of the project conducting a regular review ensuring project benefits will be achieved and reporting benefits status.

o   Obtain actuals for benefits realization

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

o    15+ years project management/Scrum Master experience

o    Experience in an Information Technology & Change capacity in the Financial Services Industry

Specific Qualifications:

-          Experience in the financial services industry will be a distinct advantage

-          Inclination to understand and learn application/business functionality

-          Good communicator, fast learner & a Team player

-          Attention to detail, disciplined and reliable

-          High motivation and confidence levels

-          Can do attitude and attention to detail

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

o     Deep understanding of Scrum Guide & Agile Manifesto

o     Ability to run all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective)

o   Definition & tracking of Agile metrics (Velocity, Lead‑time, Cycle‑time, Burndown/Burn‑up, Cumulative Flow)

o   Dashboard creation and KPI communication

Education Level:

First class Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) from a reputed university with a good background of software Management and IT experience of 10-15 years
