About Business line/Function: ARVAL Service Lease
Arval is car renting company with Services, for professional entities and more recently, opened to retail market. Serving 30 countries with the goal to be the best in class both for customer satisfaction and innovation (Partnership, new technologies, etc…)
One IT is the IT department from the company. Finance & Risk Tribe is in charge of developing and maintaining all the IT assets in relationship with Finance and Risk activity from the company. It is composed of 3 Products: Finance (2 Squads: Accounting system for G4 and Accounting system for Dynamos countries), Securitization, Billing and Financial reporting (2 squads: Securitization and Billing & Financial Reporting) and Transversal Platforms (2 squads: EDM-Electronic documents and e-Signature, and International Systems managing the Credit collections, the accounting interpretation and the Group Consolidations.

Position Purpose
The Datastage developer/engineer is in charge of, depending of his squad perimeter, developing or modifying the datastage (inbound or outbound) flows, according to the technical specifications (DFM for Data functional mapping) in order to secure the feeding of diverse systems (Credit Collection/IMX, STZ/Securitization database, etc..) .
Production or UAT environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, …)
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Participate to all the Agile ceremonies of the squad (Dailys, Sprint plannings, backlog refinements, reviews, etc…)
- Communicate ASAP on the blocking points
- Estimate and develop, according to the company standards, the Datastage flows according to the Jira requirements (Change, bug fixing, …).
- Do the unit tests of the code developed in order to deliver the code for user acceptance test.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Accountable to deliver the amount of jira tickets assigned to him/her during a sprint
- Accountable to do the daily supports on the Datastage flows (jobs) in the perimeter of the squad
- Accountable to contribute to the Engineer Chapter events and Datastage Tribe community (Guild with the Engineer Techlead)
