About Business line/Function:
Part of BNP Paribas IT Group (ITG), the Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud (CDF) department's mission aims at structuring, strengthening and harmonizing IT risks and cybersecurity management for the whole Group, by:
- defining the vision and strategy for IT risk management and cybersecurity, and ensuring the implementation of this strategy within the Group’s operating entities,
- monitoring the security of the Group's Information Systems,
- steering the IT Continuity and Resilience strategy and methodological framework.
IT Group International is the Group function established in ISPL since 2019 in Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. We collaborate with various functions and business lines of the Group to provide IT Services. With its headquarters in France, CDF has become international with a global footprint across 3 territories: India, Portugal and Poland.

You will join the Cybersecurity Expertise & Innovation (EXI) team, in charge of the cyber expertise on various topics (AI, network, cryptography, data, endpoint, application developments, cloud, API, etc.) in line with BNP Paribas’ context and IT.

Position Purpose
Cyber Innovation is a team of cybersecurity experts working on innovative topics. Our aim, as Group position, is to support the Group Production Security team and Business lines to meet security needs with Startup’s solutions, in order to increase the overall security maturity level. We also study innovative technologies, emergent solutions and new vulnerabilities for BNP Paribas to be proactive and anticipate evolution trends.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Supporting the business entities and the Group in addressing their security issues
- Provide with security guidelines and support business lines in their innovative projects
- Collect and understand security needs from Business lines and Group management
- Identify and analyze appropriate and innovative solutions
- Assess security and verify the level of integration of the solution in BNPP environment
- Coordinate and support stakeholders to test the solution (carrying out POCs – Proof of Concept)
- Support the industrialization of the solution within the bank
Watch innovative technologies and solutions
- Analyze and study emerging and prospective cyber security threat and vulnerabilities to anticipate security issues
- Carry out studies, formalize and release position paper on innovative Cyber themes and relevant market solutions
- Organize events around innovation to encourage meetup / collaboration
Communication and Reporting
- Report to the top management on the innovation projects
- Communicate and share different achievements at different hierarchical levels
