CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES
Credit Structurers are key stakeholders of Banque des Entreprises Luxembourg, on whom the Bank can rely for their expertise and objectivity in the analysis and structuring of corporate and SME financing while combining a risk awareness and commercial approach.
WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?
As Credit Structurer, you will be responsible with the Relationship Managers for:
- Gathering appropriate client/transaction/internal information (eg : annual reports, organization chart, broker-sector-rating reports, due diligence memos, budget, treasury plan, business plan, internal memos …)
- Properly structure, negotiate with the client and present in credit committees new transactions and credit annual reviews of existing transactions, with the objectives of optimizing the return and risk management of the bank, within the context of the global client relationship while taking into account the objectives, procedures and risk appetite of the bank, i.e.:
- Analysis of the information received/collected with a primary focus on financial-, rating- and credit analysis,
- Structuring credit term sheets (determining the adequate facility type, borrower, guarantor, amount, maturity, pricing, financial covenants, security…),
- With the Relationship Managers delivering a complete, synthetic, critical and coherent up-to-date credit memo on the client,/ transaction, based on facts, compliant with the bank’s guidelines and with a summary of the main risks & mitigants enabling credit committee members to take an informed decision,
- Lead the credit process with Risk colleagues
- Guarantee the quality of the financial spreadsheet/business plan, counterparty, financials, rating, sector and transaction analysis within the bank’s tools
- After the credit committee decisions, participate in the preparation of the legal documentation with the Relationship Managers
