About this opportunity
Within BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking, the Swedish Corporate Coverage team is seeking a positive, commercially oriented, and analytical candidate to join the team as Coverage Analyst. The team is composed of 12 employees with different seniority levels and based in central Stockholm.
In this context, the Coverage Analyst supports intermediate and senior team members within Corporate Coverage as instructed in relation to credit tasks and routine marketing, execution, and regulation activities including the preparation of presentations, pitches, financial analysis, and general submissions to Management, Risk, Compliance or CSR.

The Role
Your primary responsibility will be to support the team in daily tasks linked to our portfolio of clients.
You will be a fundamental part of the Corporate Coverage business model by taking on a key role across three dimensions: credit expertise, commercial focus, and KYC/compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Credit expertise: take ownership of the credit process on a portfolio of clients including preparation of annual reviews and ad hoc credit requests. This includes operational, financial and ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) analysis and coordination of input from various stakeholders to ensure reviews and transaction requests are processed in a timely manner prior to sign-off by relevant delegation holder and risk.
- Commercial: Support the Bankers in the development of client relationships through activities such as preparation of client action plans and strategic business reviews including research and capital structure analysis/modelling and preparation of presentations/pitch books. As analyst, you will interact with internal and external parties under the supervision of the Bankers to effectively deliver on all tasks. You will also maintain client and deal-related CRM data.
- Compliance: Ensure that account maintenance, Know Your Client (KYC) recertification, on-boarding of new clients and entities are done in a timely fashion and in respect of all regulatory requirements, collaborate with Due Diligence and Compliance Officers and support bankers in steering the KYC for their client portfolio.
Your Profile
- You hold a relevant master’s degree with strong academic results with 1-2 years of working experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and particularly relevant work experience or candidates with CFA will also be considered.
- You are curious, positive, have analytical mindset and a real interest in the financial markets, enjoy having diverse working days including numerical and administrative tasks
- You appreciate working on projects with colleagues from different backgrounds and countries where you will have the opportunity to challenge your analytical skills, working agility and resilience.
- You possess excellent communication skills in English and elementary skills in Swedish (or any other Scandinavian language).
- You possess basic knowledge of the Swedish and broader Nordic corporate market and a good understanding of the culture.
