Job Purpose  

Contributes to a client‑centric, consultative discovery and solution design approach across AM, AO and AI client lines, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, efficient and risk‑controlled solutions through close collaboration with product, delivery, sales and relationship teams. Supports BP2S’ market positioning by sharing industry insights and contributing to thought leadership and brand initiatives, while adhering to governance, compliance and ethical standards and actively contributing to a high‑performing, well‑aligned local team. 

 Principal Role Accountabilities  

  • Engage Clients and lead with them the discovery phase in a consulting approach to document the clients’ needs, the current solutions and the gaps, new capabilities to be managed by the product teams as part of their roadmap.  
  • Deliver a high-quality design of solutions for existing strategic clients and prospects within the AM, AO and AI Client Lines, ensuring full efficiency and minimising risks  
  • Lead the transversal coordination to ensure the solution as designed is what is implemented by the Product teams and Client delivery. Approve any change requests as they arise to ensure the overall solution design integrity is maintained. 
  • Support the sales strategy for APAC and revenue growth for products set across client lines, working closely with sales and relationship management teams as well as the product managers and Client line leaders. 
  • Connect the bank closely to industry developments and competitor capabilities in order to identify, explain and demonstrate the key differentiators of our capabilities to prospects and clients. 
  • Develop BP2S Brand in APAC aligned with APAC strategy leveraging the bank innovative thought leadership and its unique positioning. 
  • Adhere to all the client line guideline and framework including data breach prevention procedure 
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and act accordingly internally, when facing clients and providers 

What is required for you to succeed? 

The incumbent is expected to set the business up for success through the following leadership behaviours:

  • Simplify complexity by looking past symptoms, identifying underlying causes; recognising interrelationships and patterns in diverse issues; giving sense to complex problems, focusing on most critical information 
  • Make decisions by integrating multiples sources of information, arriving at optimal solutions; managing in the face of ambiguity, ensuring progress on activities; assumes responsibility for own decisions 
  • Build and motivate a high performing virtual team: whilst not directly managing staff, provides leadership appropriate to  bring staff together to help achieve the required client outcomes by shaping roles to leverage and develop skills; facilitates interactions across the division and functions; creates an environment that rewards excellence 
  • Compelling external engagement (whether with clients, prospects or other stakeholders) 

 In addition to the behaviours outlined above: 

  • Transformation:  demonstrates proven transformation or Program management experience, with the ability to assure both Top Down and Bottom Up assessments: Perform a deep dive whilst maintaining an accurate helicopter view; leads discussions on solutions and strategic change with client’s COOs and Client head of transformations. 
  • Resilience: Effectively deals with pressure, recovers quickly from set back and remains optimistic and persistent under adversity.  
  • Proficient Project Sponsor: Takes overall accountability for delivery of assigned projects and the change that they bring.  
  • Exceptional communication skills: appropriate verbal and written communication skills, Effective and Comfortable communicator, experienced presenter and able pitcher.
  • Relevant practical experience to demonstrate the personal ability to deliver on the objectives outlined above
