The Business Management Officer role supports in the management of Local CCO department teams, with a dedicated focus on Facilities Management. The position assists in all topics requiring transversal coordination or consolidation of information providing support to management processes of setting goals, planning and/or controlling the organization and leading the execution of any type of activity, such as a project or a process, being accountable for a wide variety of tasks requiring transversal coordination or consolidation and impacting the business. Topics may include analysis and elaboration of various reports and presentations used by Top Management in decision making process and focusing on continuous improvement.

The position is hosted within Territory Management Office, which is a team part of the Local COO department, focused on 4 main verticals. 1) Providing business management support to the Chief Operating Officer and the Territory Chief of Staff perimeters; 2) Delivering project office activities that positively impact the territory transversally; 3) Supporting senior management on establishing long-lasting links with key external institutions & entities, and 4) Delivering specialized project and business management services across EMEA. 

Your Main Activities Are

  • Support in all deliverables requiring transversal coordination or consolidation of information, acting as the single point of contact of Facilities Management for Finance, HR, Operational Permanent Control, Business Continuity, Community Management, and others related to the management of the department
  • Lead the development of active reporting, information sharing tools and processes
  • Coordinate/ ensure data accuracy in all management tools and ad-hoc topics, requested the COO department and BNP Paribas Portugal as a whole 
  • Be pro-active and anticipate in a wide variety of tasks affecting the business to support management in the decision making process
  • Perform research and actively support ongoing internal or transversal projects and initiatives
  • Develop frameworks with the purpose of consolidating, analyzing and reporting data in a structured and articulated way to support and inform for business decisions
  • Contribute to the development or maintenance of data sets in a large range of activities, such as budget monitoring, BMC, results of internal surveys, amongst others
  • Prepare workshops or meetings with internal clients
  • Manage the internal sites and internal communities within Facilities
  • Suggest, support implement and follow-up on continuous improvement or new projects
  • Maintain the audit trail process, ensuring that the right information is being properly stored, in accordance with requirements
  • Support scope in the yearly budget process and in following-up the budget 

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic Degree in Business Management
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in related fields such as Business Management, Project Management, Consulting, Financial Analysis & Advisory
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficient with MS Office Software such as MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
  • Great organizational skills
  • Adequate communication skills – both oral & written
  • Be adaptable
  • Be able to develop & leverage networks
